The play, based on Leonardo Sciascia’s novel and set in 1960s Sicily, tells the story of a murder investigation led by an honest Carabinieri captain who has just arrived from distant Parma. Captain Bellodi is a loyal and intelligent man, ready to face any challenge in order to do his duty well.
