A film adaptation of six short stories by Marek Nowakowski from the collection Mizerykordia. They are linked by the actor who plays the main characters in all the stories. And although he creates a different character each time, all of them - like pieces of a mosaic - form a portrait of one man. It was an excellent idea on the part of the director to entrust this task to an actor who was extremely popular in the 1970s and had many "unforgettable performances" to his credit. Zdzisław Maklakiewicz, the favorite actor of Has, Kondratiuk, and Piwowski, who starred in over 70 films, including the cult classics "Rejs" (The Cruise), "Wniebowzięci" (The Ascended), "Jak to się robi" ("How It's Done") and other films that have gone down in cinema history, the unforgettable portrayer of "shady" characters - slackers, swindlers, hustlers - formed a unique comedy duo with Jan Himilsbach. Himilsbach also appeared in the film "Seven Red Roses" as the successor to Benek the Florist.
