Nagah El-Mogui
Egyptian Actor Nagah El Mogy, whose real name is Abdel Al Maaty Mohamed El Mogy, was born in 1945 in the governorate of Dakalia. He received his bachelor’s degree in social work and started his acting career working with Tholathy Adwa'a El Masrah (The Three Lights Theatre Troupe) when he appeared in the play “Funduq El Ishgal El Shaaqa” (The Hotel of Hard Labor). He also appeared in several other plays with Three Lights Theatre including: “El Motzawjon” (Married People), “Mawlid Sidi El Marab” and “Ya Ana Ya Enta” (Me and You). In addition to his theatre work, Nagah El Mogy has played dozens of well-known roles in cinema, starring in films such as: “Tata wa Rica wa Kazem Bey,” “El Bahr Biyidhek Ley” (Why Does the Sea Laugh?), “Eyam El Ghadab (Days of Rage), and “El Harif” (The Street Player). He died of a heart attack in 1998 at the age of 53.
