Antoinette Jadaone
Antoinette "Tonet" Jadaone (born April 3, 1984) is a Filipino writer, producer, and director known for blending mainstream romantic comedy with profound indie sensibilities. A University of the Philippines Diliman graduate, she gained fame for her work on That Thing Called Tadhana (2014) and for directing acclaimed films like Fan Girl (2020) and Sunshine (2024). She is a nine-time FAMAS nominee and four-time Gawad Urian nominee, both for her writing and directing. In 2017, she co-founded Manila-based film production company Project 8 Projects with filmmaker Dan Villegas. Aside from directing and producing films, she is the co-host of the pop culture podcast Ang Walang Kwentang Podcast alongside fellow director JP Habac.
