
Elli Fotiou

Elli Fotiou (Piraeus, 30 September 1939) is the stage name of Evangelia Trigonopoulou, a Greek stage and film actress, wife of fellow actor Stefanos Linaios. She graduated from the Drama School of the National Theatre in 1962. She has appeared in numerous theatre, film, radio and television productions. She is a member of the Greek Actors' Union and the Greek Theatre Centre. She has represented Greece at the Cannes Film Festival (1965), Berlin (1966) and Moscow (1966). In 1966 she won the First Prize for Performance at the Thessaloniki Film Festival for the play Epistrofi.
