Ankie Beilke
Ankie Beilke was born and raised in Germany. Her mother is a well-known Hong Kong actress Lau Heung-Ping and her father Michael Beilke is an art director. Ankie started acting and modeling at an early age, later attending The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in New York and completing studies in Fine Arts at Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. She enjoys creating colourful and abstract art, displaying a collection of original artwork internationally, including at Hotel SAV Hong Kong. In Germany she gained recognition for her role as leading actress in the 2009 record breaking box office hit Wickie und die starken Männer , and garnered international acclaim for her role in the TVB series Brothers Keepers. Ankie has over 30 films and dramas to her credit since 2000, attracting large audiences and critics attention. Besides her acting career, Ankie is also a top model and a certified yoga instructor with yoga instructional DVD launched in 2011. She is also a philanthropist and an ongoing supporter of AIDS Concern events.
