Andreas Georgiou (London, April 18, 1982) is a Greek Cypriot director and actor. He emerged from the television talent competition "Dream Show – the theatre", in which he was the winner. He was born in London, England to Greek Cypriot parents. He lived in the country until he was 6 years old, where he returned to Cyprus as a family. He has an older sister, Xenia, and two brothers, Christopher and Raphael - Antonis. In Cyprus and Greece he is quite a well-known actor and director thanks to his successes. He has directed the Waltz with 12 gods, the 31 roads and in the 2013-2017 season he directed and starred in the ANT1 television series Brusko together with Apostolis Totsikas, Eleni Vaitsou, Evelina Papoulia, Giorgos Zenios, Elli Kyriakidou and other Greek and Greek Cypriot actors. In the 2014-2015 season he directed at Rois Mat. He has played in "White Balloons", "On a red background", "Allou Ximeromenoi" and has made a guest appearance in Oniropida. He made his first contact with television from Dream Show - The Theater on Alpha TV, where he won. In the 2017-2019 season he directed and starred in ALPHA's drama series The Tattoo, which also achieved high ratings in Greece and Cyprus. In the 2019-2021 season he had one of the leading roles in the SKAI series 8 words. In the 2021-2025 season, he is directing Mega's daily drama series The Land of Olives. In the 2022 season he participated in the presentation of the music show The X Factor on Mega. In the 2024 season he directed and starred in the television series Famagusta on Mega, with main reference to the besieged city of Famagusta and the aftermath of the Turkish invasion of Cyprus.
