Iain Armitage is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Sheldon Cooper in Young Sheldon, a spin-off prequel to The Big Bang Theory, from 2017 to 2024. Another childhood role was Ziggy Chapman in two seasons of the series Big Little Lies from 2017 to 2019. He has also played television guest roles, and his voice roles in films include Chase in PAW Patrol: The Movie and Shaggy Rogers in Scoob! and Scoob! Holiday Haunt.
