Spyros Bibilas
Spyridon "Spyros" Bibilas (Greek: Σπυρίδων "Σπύρος" Μπιμπίλας) is a Greek stage, film, television and voice actor. He was born in Piraeus and has two siblings. His father died when he was 10 years old, so he was forced to work from the age of 15. He studied Law at the University of Athens, because he was pressured by relatives who were also lawyers. However, from a young age he wanted to become an actor and so he studied theater at the Drama School of the Piraeus Association. His first theater performance, The Court of Miracles, was performed with his school's Experimental Stage at the Municipal Theater of Piraeus. Bibilas starred in the American NBC miniseries The First Olympics: Athens 1896. In 1993, he played Grigoris Molfedos in the ET1 television series, Kostis Palamas. He has made numerous guest appearances on television, some of which were in the series The Flash, Good Morning Life, The Men and the Unseen, The Department of Ethics, The Unseen, Casa di Macaroni, Seven Deadly Mother-in-Laws and Lola. He appeared in the television series Konstantinou kai Elenis, where he played the butcher Lakis Fourtounakis in the episode The Vendetta.[6] In 2009, he starred in the series Karyotakis. In 2010, he starred in the theatrical monologue titled The Bench at the Alekton Theater. In 2012, he played in the play A Servant with Two Masters. In 2016, he made another guest appearance in the second season of the series Your Kind, playing the gallerist Moschos Amperiadis.[10] The same year, he played in the play Anna Karenina at the National Theatre. He has lent his voice, among others, to the following characters: Bugs Bunny, Hachanoulis/Grannyaris/Skoundoufles (Smurfs), Tweety, Kermit the Frog (The Muppet Show), Grand Duke (Cinderella, Cinderella II and III), King Mug and Bill the Lizard (Alice in Wonderland), Piglet (Winnie the Pooh), Zazu (The Lion King), Iago (Aladdin, The Return of Jafar, Aladdin and the King of Thieves), Dolly (Lucky Luke), Biscuits (Shrek, Shrek 2, Shrek the Third, Shrek and Us Better). He participated with roles in: Nils Holgersson, Tintin, Tao Tao, Beauty and the Beast 3: Belle's Magical World, Asterix, Flintstones and others. He is treasurer of the Greek Actors' Union, member of the Board of Directors of the State Theatre of Northern Greece, member of the Board of Directors of the Organization of Corporate Troupes and the Dionysus Organization.
