Jermaine Jackson
Jermaine La Juane Jackson (born December 11, 1954) is an American singer-songwriter, bassist, and a foundational member of the Jackson family. From 1964 to 1975, Jermaine served as the second lead vocalist of the Jackson 5 and played bass guitar. After a successful solo career at Motown, he rejoined the group—then known as The Jacksons—in 1983. Beyond his musical achievements, Jermaine is the patriarch of a large, creatively gifted family. His children have followed in the family’s footsteps, becoming actors, musicians, and filmmakers who continue to shape global entertainment. Personal Life and Family Jermaine was born at St. Mary's Mercy Hospital in Gary, Indiana, the fourth child of Joseph and Katherine Jackson. He is the brother of Rebbie, Jackie, Tito, La Toya, Marlon, Michael, Randy, and Janet.
