Frank Borman

Frank Borman was an American astronaut and Air Force colonel, best known for commanding Apollo 8, the first mission to orbit the Moon in December 1968. He had a distinguished career as a fighter pilot, test pilot, and later served as CEO of Eastern Air Lines after retiring from NASA in 1970.
