Jenna is a talented filmmaker and accomplished actor who graduated with distinction from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. In 2010, she made the move to Toronto to pursue her Canadian career, and quickly made a name for herself with her outstanding work on the webseries LESlieVILLE and the “Patron’s Pick” production of Eric Brogosian’s Skunkweed at the 2015 Fringe festival. One of Jenna's most memorable experiences was working with Chris Ross on the short film Friends on Facebook, which premiered at the St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival. The film went on to screen at several other festivals, including the Canadian Film Festival and the LA Indie Film Fest. Friends on Facebook can now be viewed online as part of the NSI Online Short Film Festival. Jenna was thrilled to be a part of the web series Sis Boom Bah, written and directed by her fellow Dirt Underneath Actors’ Space regular Delphine Roussel. Her episode is now available to watch on the Reel Women’s Network. In addition to her acting work, Jenna has also stepped behind the camera to write and direct her own films. Her first short film, Whenever You’re Ready, is a darkly comedic look at the day in the life of a struggling actor and premiered at the 20th annual Kinston Canadian Film Festival. Her second short film, The Breakup, was generously funded by the Canada Council for the Arts and made its world premiere at the tenth anniversary edition of the Chelsea Film Festival. Jenna is currently in post-production for another Canada Council-funded short film that will be completed in early 2023. Jenna's artistic journey has been an exciting one, and she was recently interviewed by her alma mater about her experiences. When she's not working on set or on her own projects, Jenna enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
