Gabriel Lizama (Liz Taylor)

Gabriel Lizama Sangüeza (Santiago, Chile, 1990)—also known as Liz Taylor—is a Chilean audiovisual artist, filmmaker and researcher. Since 2024, he has been developing an experimental body of work that explores the mobility of analog photographs, family and historical archives, abstraction and digital distortion. He is a member of the Film-Makers’ Cooperative in New York and serves as coordinator and programmer for the Sala Sazié Film Club at the University of Chile’s Film Archive (Cineteca). His films have been screened at the Light Matter Film Festival, MUTA Festival, FICVIÑA, Millennium Film Workshop, and New Year New Work, among others.
