Phillip Avalon

Phil Avalon (born 24 February 1955) is an Australian producer, director, writer and actor of films and TV. A former surfing champion and male model, he was responsible for giving Mel Gibson his first break in Summer City. He served in the Army Air Wing and also appeared as a contestant on the original series of Blind Date. He finally made his directing debut in 2003 with Liquid Bridge.
