Christina Renee is an American actress of Haitian, Jamaican, and Dominican heritage, born in New York and raised in South Florida. She later returned to New York to study acting at the Stella Adler Studio and with renowned coach Anthony Abeson. Christina's recent work includes the Apple TV+ psychological thriller Before, CBS/Paramount+'s The Equalizer, and the feature film The Silent Partner. As an award-winning filmmaker, Christina wrote, produced, co-directed, and starred in Through the Modern Looking Glass, a short film exploring the many forms and causes of depression and how social media can exacerbate those feelings. Along with its alternate version, Beautiful Catastrophe, both films screened at over 35 festivals across the U.S. and Europe, earning 23 awards, including Best Original Screenplay, Best Short Film, Best African American Filmmaker, and Best Ensemble Cast. While Christina is proud of the work she has done, most of her story has yet to be written.
