Johnny Winter was an American singer, guitarist, songwriter, and record producer. He was best known for his blues rock music. Winter received Grammy Awards for three albums he produced for blues legend Muddy Waters. He was nominated for multiple Grammy awards for his own recordings. Winters posthumously won several awards including a Grammy award and Blues Music Award for Best Rock Blues Album for his final album, as well as being winning the B.B. King International Artist of The Year Award.
