Omguru
Omguru (Born as Pritesh Ashok Kumar Himtalal Shah; also known as Sadguru Omrushi Swami and Omrushi is an Indian actor, writer, director, and producer, and the founder of 𝐎𝐦𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐮 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐦𝐬 (𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞). He hails from a Gujarati family background and has contributed to Gujarati cinema through short films such as Gamdhani, Vardan Ke Shrap, and Mind Game, where he worked as a writer, director, producer, and also acted. His films have received recognition at several national and international platforms. He is also the founder and host of the 𝐀𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐦 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 (𝐀𝐈𝐅𝐅), held annually in Ahmedabad, which promotes Indian and international cinema and provides a platform for filmmakers from around the globe. He received the National Award in 2016, presented by Pranab Mukherjee, for his outstanding work for people with disabilities. He completed his graduation in Ahmedabad and successfully cleared the IAS preliminary examination, but chose to dedicate his life to spirituality and service rather than pursue a government career. Omguru is a spiritual leader known as Mantra-Yug Parivartak Omkar Mahamandaleshwar 1008 P. P. Saint Shree Sadguru Omrushi Swami and is widely recognized as "Omguru." He is the founder of Omkar Sampraday (Ajivik Dharm Punh Uttharak), established on July 17, 1996, on the auspicious occasion of Rath Yatra, with a vision of uniting people across all castes, religions, and social backgrounds without requiring them to renounce their own faith. The sampraday focuses on humanitarian service, spiritual upliftment through Mantra and Sadhna, and compassion toward animals and birds. At the age of seven, Omguru was diagnosed with the rare and severe condition of Rheumatoid Arthritis, which left him physically challenged despite extensive treatments across the globe. After years of suffering, he found spiritual guidance under Acharya Mitranand Surishwarji Maharaj, whose teachings inspired him to accept his circumstances and awaken inner strength. Through deep meditation and Mantra Sadhna, he explored and activated his inner spiritual power, shaping his journey toward becoming a spiritual guide He studied Jain Vastu Shastra, Jain Mantra Shastra, and Jain Aura Shastra, gaining remarkable mastery in mantra science. He conducts various spiritual practices, including Puja, Havan, and healing systems such as Om Shri Guru Maha Shakti Energy Healing, Om Shri Kasht Bhanjan Mantra Therapy Darbar, andOm Shri Shiv Shakti Maha Healing, and continues to guide thousands of people. In 2015, he established the pilgrimage center Omkar Dham, dedicated to Lord Parshwanath, Shri Kshetrapalveer, GoddessLakshmi, and Navagrahas. He is actively involved in social service through the Omkar Foundation Trust in Ahmedabad, supporting differently-abled individuals and organizing welfare activities. His contributions have been recognized with the Glory of Gujarat Award in 2019, presented by O. P. Kohli.
